February has arrived already! Here’s what’s happening this month:

February 3-10:    Parent Survey window

February 14:       Valentine’s Day Dress-Up - Wear pink, red, and white

February 17-21:   Presidents’ Week Break 

February  25:     FEPTO Meeting FMS Cafeteria 6:30 p.m.

February 27:      Lunch in the Courtyard

Feb 27-28:         Student of the Month Awards

March 3-7:          Dr. Seuss Week

Please take a few minutes to complete this Parent Survey.  If you prefer a paper copy, you can pick one up at the school office. Please submit your response by Monday, February 10th. Your feedback is invaluable in our decision-making and planning, and the more responses we receive, the better we can understand and address your needs. Thank you!

The PTO-sponsored School Carnival is on the horizon on April 4th. The Carnival Committee will be meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings at Walker in room 11 at 6:00 p.m. Please consider joining us to help organize this fun event.

There are still some Walker spirit wear t-shirts and sweatshirts available.  Come by and see if we have the right size for you and your family. T-Shirts are $15, hooded sweatshirts are $25, and zip hoodies are $30. 

Come and check out the new Students of the Month posted on the wall in the school office. Each month, our teachers pick two students for the award. We have a classroom ceremony with family members where the students are recognized in front of their peers. The students then receive a new book and a certificate. Congratulations to these students!
